Speak It, Sarah

Friday, January 9th, 2009

My fondness of Sarah, the great one, is well known, so I was thrilled to my blogging fingertips when Gov. Palin opened up about the madness that surrounded the media and outlandish rumors that persist to follow her.  This was all over the web, but a blog that is obsessed with Palin must post this. Every time this woman  makes the news, I like her even more.[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idVvfaTORXw&hl=en&fs=1]

“Katie, you’re not the center of everyone’s universe?”

I despise Katie Couric as much as I love Sarah Palin. That quote makes my day.

To those who disagree with Gov. Palin because of her politics, I understand your position. The beauty of our political system allows us to have disagreeing views. However, those of you who continue to underestimate her, attack her family or go for the the cheap “MILF” jokes, you disgust me.

Having some experience with the media, I wish people understood one thing. When the media can’t criticize talent, they go after character. When that doesn’t work, they pretty much go after every possible rumor that’s out there. Sadly, too many people believe the talking heads and fail to see this.

Gov. Palin is a smart woman who was elected in her state for a reason. Not only does she have more executive experience than the current president-elect, she’s a classy and talented woman. I can’t wait to see where her career leads her.

And You’re Surprised?

The CosmoCon was lucky enough to score one of these babies from Santa. Just when she thought the election was over and her favorite political leader would fall off the radar, a 2009 Sarah Palin wall calendar was released!

MSNBC reports that, “A 2009 calendar featuring photos of the Alaska governor and former Republican vice presidential nominee is at the top of Amazon.com’s office supplies sales list.”

Earlier today, the CosmoCon was messaged on twitter by a good friend who is a misguided liberal. This friend was amazed that the Palin calendar is doing so well. Just goes to show that just when they thought she was gone, Sarah Palin is here to stay.
