House Call Protesters vs. Anti-War Protesters

Campus Progress, always the delightful site, put up an interesting post today calling the attendees at the House Call rally “weirdos.” A slideshow accompanied the post.

I used to work two blocks away from the White House and frequently took strolls out to see anti-war protesters and take photos. (Whatever happened to anti-war protesters? Hasn’t this been the deadliest year in Afghanistan? Where is all the noise from the left? Curious.)

Now, please tell who is more of a “weirdo.”

So nice grandmas, little kids and families from across the country who dropped everything to attend a spur-of-the-moment rally (Seriously, it was organized 5 days ago) are “weirdos?” There’s nothing creepy or strange about the masked figures dressed all in black. I remember my initial reaction was “Deatheaters” from Harry Potter!

My advice to Campus Progress? You may want to get out of the District some time and actually encounter real people. The ones who will be paying for Obamacare. If the Gadsden flag is strange to you, you may also want to read up on American history or at least rent the John Adams miniseries.

  • Yeah…isn’t the double standard a curious thing?

Another example that comes to mind is the fact that years ago, the A.M.A. (American Medical Association) was considered a laughing-stock to the statists on the American left, but now that the A.M.A. is infested with the same Socialistic idea-logs that infects the leftists, they are the courageous heroes that seek to implement the “hope and change we need”.

But, the doctors who dare speak their minds about Obama-Care are belittled and berated as kooks and quacks that don’t “truly understand the problems we are facing”.

It makes me want to puke in Obama’s shoes!

P.S. I’d like to puke in a lot more shoes on Capitol Hill, but Barack’s shoes will do just fine for now.
